Attention is a very crucial part of human processes and cognitive psychology makes some brief study on this field. In the science of psychology “attention” is a term that can be defined as a state of focused and finite awareness which works as a subset of the available and enormous perceptual information. The human mind can receive enormous numbers and types of data at a time in different forms like visual, auditory, tactile or taste. The main function of attention is to filter the irrelevant data and store the desired ones.
Attention might be divided into two systems like endogenous control and exogenous control. Endogenous control mainly works with selective attentions, local or global attention and conscious attention. On the other hand, the exogenous one is responsible for alertness, orienting reflexes, arousal and spotlight attention.
